All proceed will be used to purchase eye glasses for children & seniors that need them.
Happy Hour/$2 beers 5-7.

Another Successful Hollywood Lions Post
/Club meeting! Highlights---> Had our Traditions, we're adopting a dune, we donated $150 to Environmental Youth Alliance / Adopt a Dune
, we donated a $100 towards the Greater Hollywood Junior Chamber- Jaycees Thanksgiving day baskets for families in need(food still needed in the pics with website for donations), Crowned Kim & Crazy Ray as our new King/Queen of The Jungle, learned about dunes from our guest speaker~Lee Gottlieb, discussed our Hollywood ROAR Beach Clean Up event last Saturday & had lots of FuN!

George Joseph Sterling, Jr.
NOVEMBER 30, 1936 – OCTOBER 12, 2020
Senator George Joseph Sterling, Jr. #16637 passed away at home in Davie, Florida, on Monday, October 12, 2020 after a lingering illness. George was extremely active in the Hollywood Jaycees, serving in several offices. President in 1971-1972 and National Director in 1972-1973; and he was awarded the Jaycees' highest honor of a Senatorship of JCI International # 16637.
He is survived by two sons, George J. Sterling, III (Rachel), of Washington DC, and David A. Sterling (Dawn), of Senoia, GA, as well as two granddaughters, Heaven and Shannon, his brother-in-law, Drew Rhodes, of Anniston, AL, and two nieces and a nephew. He is predeceased by his parents, George J. Sterling and Reba Sterling, and his sisters, Betty Sterling and Reba Rhodes. Please keep the family in your prayers!
George will be interred in Hollywood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family will greatly appreciate donations to The Wounded Warrior Project in George's name.

I wish I would have known him.....he was really proud of being in the Jaycees...this photo board was at his gravesite!

FYI, the relapse and overdose rate has increased by 30% since March 2020. Mental health issues related to our lockdown and the pandemic are especially hard for people with depression.

The US Jaycees Foundation has grant opportunities available for your local community to get active immediately. Chapters may apply for grants for any project which serves the community or improves the ability, capacity, talents of the Chapter. Increased membership, improved leadership skills and service to humanity are all available for Chapter Grants.
